So what’s new on Volvo’s Geneva Motor Show stand? It’s all about the new XC60 on the Volvo stand. Based on the V70/XC70 architecture – there’s no commonality with Ford’s new Kuga – the XC60 is the SUV with a conscience.
Infiniti M35h Hybrid - targeting the Lexus GS 450h
Infiniti, in case you don’t know, is to Nissan what Lexus is to Toyota. The posh badge for a Japanese mass manufacturer. Unlike Lexus, Infinitis are only sold outside Japan.
Porsche may add an entry-level sports car as part of a plan to double global sales to 200,000 units by 2018. The new four-cylinder sports car would be in addition to a small SUV and a plug-in hybrid supercar recently approved for production. Matthias Mueller, the former Volkswagen executive who took over as Porsche CEO in October, says a new product strategy will be completed by the end of March.
